Privacy Notice: Notification in Agreements

NxtPort (hereinafter “NxtPort”, “we” or “us”) attaches great importance to the protection of personal data. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter “data subject”, “you” or “your”). Your personal data will always be protected by us in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation or “GDPR”), including any applicable current or future national or international legislation implementing or replacing the GDPR (hereinafter jointly referred to as “Applicable Data Protection Law”).
This notice regarding the processing of your personal data (hereinafter “privacy notice”) was drafted to clearly inform you about the processing of your personal data and your rights as a data subject. Please read this document carefully and contact us with any questions by using the contact details in section 9 below.
1. Scope of this notice
This privacy notice applies to the processing of personal data of the following categories:
- persons involved in this agreement and any related communication.
2. Controller of the processing
The controller of this processing is NxtPort BV, with enterprise number 0429.672.881 and registered office at Sint-Pietersvliet 7, 2000 Antwerp, Belgium.

4. Source of the personal data
NxtPort only processes the personal data it directly obtains from the contracting party. In addition, NxtPort also processes personal data of persons involved in the agreement, which the contracting party provides to us or which these persons provide themselves through communication with NxtPort. NxtPort relies on the contracting party to provide this notice to all such persons.
5. Categories of recipients
Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties in the context of these processing activities.
6. International transfers
Your personal data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area.
7. Retention period
NxtPort will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described in section 3. Afterwards, the personal data will be deleted. For more information in this regard, you may always contact dpo@nxtport.com.
8. Your rights as a data subject
In accordance with the Applicable Data Protection Law, you may exercise the following rights (where applicable):
- You may request access to and obtain a copy of all personal data we have processed about you.
- You may also request that your personal data that is incorrect or incomplete be corrected or completed.
- You may request the erasure of your personal data.
- You may object to the processing of your personal data, request us to restrict the processing of your personal data, or request the portability of your personal data.
- You may also object free of charge to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes by contacting NxtPort at the address below or by using the unsubscribe link included in each direct marketing communication.
- Where we collect and process your personal data on the basis of your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out based on your consent before its withdrawal.

Finally, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Supervisory Authority (link).
